The Laois International Golf Challenge is an annual “fourball betterball” competition that guarantees four days of golf with competitions and prizes each day. It is open to all golfers affiliated to a club and last year welcomed entries from Ireland, UK, Germany, Belgium and Sweden.
The best accumulated scores from 20 teams over the first three days will enter the final at the Seve Ballesteros designed Heritage course at Killenard. Those who do not make it to the final will play a separate competition on the final day.
Players will be given the chance to experience the variety and quality of at least three of the six participating golf courses: Abbeyleix, Mountrath, Portarlington, Portlaoise, Rathdowney and the Heath. The entry fee is £100 per person and includes golf Monday to Thursday.
